Our Capital Stewardship Campaign
Gaylord Community Church is a church that believes in building community -- the community of Christ and reaching the community of Northern Michigan. Through much prayer, GCC has decided to partner with RSI to meet a genuine need in our quest to Build Community -- the funds to complete the construction of our new addition. We believe this addition will increase our opportunity for ministry in accordance with the vision God has given us. While GCC has been faithful in its stewardship of the addition's construction loan payments, an offering above-and-beyond the tithe is necessary to complete the construction. This is where the Capital Stewardship Campaign comes in.
We are stewards of what God has given us, especially our finances. With this campaign, we are asking for a three-year pledge that is over and above the tithe and normal giving. Now, this campaign is about equal sacrifice, not equal giving. We are all parts of one body in Christ, and together we can reach our goal and even surpass it!
